  • How can I share my notes?
    Save your note, select the note you want to share in the ‘My note’ tab and click the share icon at the bottom of the screen.
  • Can I find out the color of the currently inserted paper?
    The current paper color is displayed next to the printer name on the "search printer" screen. Or, the current paper color is automatically shown on the screen when connecting to the printer.

  • How can I print a message from social media?
    After selecting the text/image you want to print, use the share feature to deliver the text/image to the nemonic app and print it.
  • Can I use a smartphone (ex: Galaxy Note) pen device with nemonic?
    Yes.

    You can write notes with stylus pen of mobile devices as well as finger touch.
  • Can I print a picture on my smartphone?
    Yes. Press the Picture icon, select a picture and print it after adjusting size, location etc.
  • Do I need a grayscale picture for printing?
    No, both grayscale/color pictures can be printed, but printing itself is only possible in grayscale.
  • If the app is deleted, are all saved notes deleted as well?
    Yes, currently notes are only saved on the user’s device.
    If you wish to back up your data, use the Save in Dropbox feature on the Settings tab to save it to your personal Dropbox. We are planning to provide nemonic’s own cloud linkage service in the future.
  • Do I have to reconnect every time I use nemonic?
    No. If a previously selected printer exists, nemonic will run connection & print-out actions automatically on pressing the print button.
  • ‘Response time-out.’ message keeps on displaying.
    Connection may be lost temporarily due to communication errors.
    Turn off and turn on nemonic again. If the issue persists, please try again after disabling & enabling the Bluetooth on your smartphone.
    If the issue persists, go to Settings > Connection > Bluetooth menu of the smartphone/tablet device, disconnect nemonic and try reconnecting it using the app.

  • What is the least recent Android OS version supported?
    Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) and later are supported.
  • App shuts down repeatedly by itself after printing on an iPhone or iPad.
    On iOS 8, a Bluetooth-related bug often causes the malfunction of nemonic while communicating with peripherals.
    nemonic supports iOS 9 and later only, so please use after updating to a more recent version if possible.
  • Can I print using nemonic on other apps (ex: Gmail) as well?
    Yes. For Android, you can print directly from other apps (ex: Gmail or web browsers) that support printing options after downloading the ‘nemonic print service plug-in’ from Google Play Store.
  • How do I connect nemonic to a PC?
    Connect the PC and nemonic using the USB cable provided with the product. Use the printer after installing the nemonic driver and dedicated program.
  • Can I connect nemonic to a laptop via Bluetooth?
    On a PC, only connection through USB cable is supported.
  • Can I print using nemonic on other programs (ex: Microsoft Word, Excel etc) as well?
    Yes. Download the dedicated driver for nemonic, select ‘nemonic MIP-001’ when choosing printer, select the appropriate paper size for the document or content to be printed & proceed to printing.

  • Can I change the paper size when printing?
    Yes. Change the paper size when printing on the application, or if you use the dedicated program for nemonic, click the ‘change sheet’ icon to select the desired size & print.

  • Can I use nemonic on Windows XP?
    Due to security issues, Windows XP is not supported.
    nemonic supports Windows OS version 7 and later.
  • Can I change the sticky side when printing?
    Yes. When printing on the application, set the sheet direction to Horizontal/Vertical or use the Rotate 180° option in the printer settings.
    If you are using the dedicated program for nemonic, click the Change Sticky Side option to set the desired sticky side & print.

  • Can I use any thermal paper?
    nemonic only uses its dedicated paper cartridge. Use of other thermal paper may compromise printing quality and cause defects. Service will not be provided for defects caused by using cartridges other than the dedicated paper cartridge for nemonic.
  • LED color will change upon replacing sheets. Is this normal?
    nemonic recognizes the sheet color of its dedicated paper cartridge. If you replace sheets, the LED color will change to match the sheet color.
